About Reed Cagle

Reed Cagle has a long and successful career in the oil and energy industry. He started as a field consultant, advising clients to streamline their operations and make the most of their resources. After years of hard work and experience, he has become one of the foremost experts in horizontal drilling. He is dedicated to his clients and always puts their interests first.

Born in 1962, Mr. Cagle was raised in the small Texas town of Clarksville. He has traveled extensively but still considers his Texan roots his home. More than three decades ago, he married Donna, and together they brought up their now-adult son. In 1999, the family relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado. They returned to Plano, Texas, in 2017 and reside there today.

In 1986, Reed began his associate career with Kinlaw Oil Corporation. He was intrigued by the industry and quickly became knowledgeable about every aspect of the company due to his diligence and hard work. During this time, he was promoted to positions of great responsibility within the organization. He remained with the organization for ten years before striking out on his own and starting his own business.

Reed Cagle is an outdoor enthusiast. He loves fly fishing and hunting as well as cycling. He is an outspoken advocate for the benefits of cycling for both children and adults. In addition, he has a private pilot’s license and enjoys flying.

He is a kind and gentle man who is very involved in his church. He is passionate about the outdoors, so he’s often asked to organize men’s fellowship activities. He’s also an accomplished golfer; he often plays golf with his son. Mr. Cagle is always looking for new ways to give back to the community, and one of his favorite things is organizing charitable golf tournaments.

Reed is the founder and CEO of Outreaches, a non-profit Christian organization that operates in Colorado and Texas and internationally. Outreach provides financial assistance and builds houses, churches, schools, food banks, and medical facilities throughout South America. The Chip-In charity golf tournament also helps Outreaches raise funds.

Reed Cagle is a businessman who has worked in the oil industry for over 35 years. He is a family man who has been married for over 30 years and has three children. His current consulting work allows him to collaborate with companies inside and outside the oil industry, which he finds fascinating. Reed loves spending time with his family, going on walks, reading books, and watching college football (especially his beloved Texas Longhorns).

Reed enjoys fishing, hunting, cycling, and hiking in his spare time.
